THE VEHICLE GUIDE
Choose for the trip you have in mind.
Passenger count is only the beginning. Think about luggage, journey length and the roads you will use before choosing a vehicle.
Compact cars: keep city plans simple
A compact car can be a practical option for a small group with light luggage. Smaller dimensions can help with parking and tighter city streets. Check the boot opening and actual luggage space; a full set of passengers and large suitcases may exceed what feels comfortable.
Sedans: balance comfort and luggage
A sedan may suit a longer journey when you want a separate boot and a comfortable cabin. Ask for the exact model and compare usable boot space, especially for airport transfers. Rear-seat comfort varies between models, so do not rely on the class name alone.
Larger vehicles: plan around people and bags
For a group or family trip, a larger vehicle may offer more flexibility. Confirm how much luggage room remains when every seat is in use. Check step-in height, seat access and whether all passengers will have an appropriate seat belt. More seats do not automatically mean more luggage space.
Transmission and driver arrangements
For self-drive rentals, select a transmission you can operate confidently and ask what documents the provider requires. If a driver is included, focus on passenger comfort, pickup arrangements and the agreed itinerary. Availability must be confirmed directly with the provider.
Match your priorities

| Airport transfer | Suitcase capacity, flight timing, waiting charges and meeting point. |
| Longer road trip | Seat comfort, luggage space, assistance cover and route permissions. |
| Group outing | Usable seats with bags loaded, access and driver arrangements. |
Before you confirm
Request the actual vehicle or a clearly defined class, the substitution policy and a full quote. The categories here are comparison guidance and do not describe a confirmed Drive Cabs fleet. Continue with the rental guide to check costs and collection details.
